Job Title – Systems Engineer (Public Cloud)
Location – Riyadh, KSA
As a member of the Fortinet EMEA public cloud team, you will work closely with the sales team to position the Fortinet solutions in public cloud, assist field Systems Engineers in their projects and report product evolution requests to Product Management.
Key role Responsibilities include:
- Member of the public cloud team which covers EMEA region with a particular focus on the Poland market.
- Second level of pre-sales support assisting the SE organization:
o in responding to RFPs/RFIs: design, solution specification, product information
o in supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet success
o in leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value
o in conducting compelling solution presentation, demonstrations and POCs
- Being responsible to build technical material to support sales activities and design workshops
- Effectively spread product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel
- Point of contact for the Product Management team: responsible to report and consolidate customer needs across EMEA, validate business case, write and prioritize feature requests
- Report project activities, analyze project trends and provide market vision
- Participate in the development of commercial strategies
- Participate in seminars
- Travel as required in EMEA region
- Being able to self-start and understand the addressable market for your designated technologies
- Work closely with Product Managers and peer CSEs to provide your input on product direction and strategy
Required Skills and Technical Experience:
- Extensive pre-sales experience
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience in public speaking Excellent presentation and demo skills
- Three to Five years of experience with cloud solutions and/or virtual platforms
- Knowledge in modern software architecture using CI/CD, DevOps tools (Ansible / CloudFormation / Azure ARM), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Scalability, and API first strategy
- Working knowledge of Python, Java or other programming languages
- Cloud certifications such as CSSP, Azure Security Architect, AWS Solution Architect or GCP Cloud Architect are a plus
- A self-motivated, independent thinker
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry with 5+ years of experience.
